On Saturday, April 18, 2015 Seattle’s Hitchcock Madrona hosts their first ever trunk show collaboration with Seattle handbag designer Jessica Park of Ampersand As Apostrophe. I don’t have to tell those of you who are big fans of both of these stylish gems that this is a match made in heaven.

Park was inspired to make her first bag from an “as-chance-would-have-it” material, thus creating shoulder bags that transform into clutches and more, with the first collection made from 100 year-old mailbags. It was not lost on the designer that the envelope-like design and minimalist features mirrored the purpose of the materials’ origin. Super cool and eco-friendly, these bags naturally become a bit of an obsession to all those who come in contact with them. There is repurposing, and then there is repurposing with style.

Swing on in to preview and pre-order the new Fall Collection from Ampersand As Apostrophe while shopping a large array of styles and colors from the current collection. And good luck getting out of there without a gorgeous something special from one of Seattle’s most remarkable boutiques.
