Last week, the fashion set dashed around Bellevue Fashion week, attending chic parties, runway shows, special appearances and trend events, such as the one Sarah Caples and I covered last week. The Bellevue Collection has been bringing fashion to the Northwest for nine years, and Saturday night was the highly anticipated finale of the week.

This is the fifth year fashion met philanthropy where The Bellevue Collection and Kemper Freeman family organized The Front Row Fashion Show presented by Vogue. The sold-out event raised over $61,000 and 100 percent of ticket proceeds are for The Moyer Foundation. The Moyer Foundation has 50 camps across the country that provide hope and healing to children affected by loss and addiction. They also won an Emmy for their film One Last Hug on HBO.

The evening started off with an elegant, dimly lit fete where the chic set sipped Stylish Sangrias with notable guests, such as local business owner Gene Juarez, stylist to the stars Lawrence Zarian, and of course Karen Moyer, who glowed in a graphic, mod Valentino dress, Gucci boots, and a stunning bright pink, gold-studded Louis Vuitton clutch to finish the outfit. Cara Crowley of Vogue hosted the exclusive, cutting edge fashion presentation. Vogue editors pulled together looks and brought the fall trends straight from the pages of the magazine. The show featured a couple of my favorite trends: “White Out” (think, creams, ivories and whites) and “Edgy Metal” (sleek leather, studs, aviators, booties). My fall fashion list has become a little lengthier after this show. All looks are available at the Bellevue Collection. I’ll be making a trip myself.

After the show, all-access VIP ticket holders joined the runway team, including the models, for an exclusive post show cocktail party, where guests discussed the fashion show, mingled and wound down after the fun filled week of events. I’m looking forward to next year already.
